    That's where we get ours.

Welcome, hopefully an order to McMaster-Carr fixes your problem... but I have a request: please post more images of your new love under "show your ride". Looks terrific, want to see more! Light ivory and...?

Will do! Thank you... the car is "medium ivory". I'll post some pictures tonight!

You should tighten up the screws that hold the fuel level sender in place. First, though, look for moisture around the sender opening. If you see moisture,(I suspect you will). Refer to the first sentence. Worst case, you will have to replace the gasket.

    Regards

Happened to order some the other day to redo some of my evaporative emission lines in the frunk. I used cloth braided hoses from Belmetric to and from the pipes to the rear that connect to the charcoal canister, but these are for the other stuff. I originally did them last summer with Home Depot stuff, which I knew was not fuel compatible and within 1 year they are essentially yellow and rock hard and would crack if you apply any bending forces.

From McMaster-Carr, the two clear fuel compatible options you have are pure clear hose, which is PVC only. Or the yellow clear which is a higher quality Tygon PVC and whose transparency varies a bit on how thick the wall is. I believe the original stuff was clear and just turned yellow/brown in time, but I wanted to experiment with the Tygon stuff and see if it has a longer lifetime. The stuff is relatively inexpensive, and we'll see how it goes.

I ordered 5552K27 for the small fittings and 5552K31 for the bigger fittings. Imperial sizes that fit fine over the metric tank and barbed fittings. Use the proper hose clamps as I mentioned.
