SOLD: '69-'73 All Leather Recaro Sport Seats -- Perfect Condition!

    Hi Fellow Members,

    THESE SEATS ARE SOLD!

These came with my car but I am not using them so I figured I would move them down the road.

Although I have no info about whether they have been recovered, I would assume they have because the fabric is in perfect condition. It is likely they were probably recovered more than fifteen years ago either way.

Both seats come with functioning sliders and everything works as it should. Centers are perforated leather.

More pics and info available upon request.

    Asking $SOLD

Nice pair. I figure you'll want to keep them w/sliders; however, if not... I'd be interested in sliders.

    Thanks!

Sliders don't appear to be double lockers from the pics you have posted of the bases

Why would anyone want to split up a complete set of seats into parts? Clyde appears right, look like single locker with these limited extra tiny resolution pics.

Regarding double lockers I think you guys may be right about this -- at least partly. As I recall, the rails are set up for the second lock, but it is not installed. Either way, I am changing the initial post here to reflect these doubts.

    Thanks,
    Jim

I have had a few seats of these that had the pivot pin on the frame but did not have and never had the 2nd lock block or rod. Seems like a transitional
period from single to double lockers occurred

you are right clyde, until october 1972 there was a kind of transition base. I always like to talk about series 2.5 here. these transitional bases were available in several versions. parts of the later double locker version were always installed - but only parts. you can also see well (on the bad pictures :-) that the seat cover is no longer the original. good luck with the sale - hope i could help a little

Do these show on the original heritage certificate for the car as being factory installed sport seats? Any documentation on who recovered them and what leather they used?
    Thanks.

Thank you @MSL212 for your interest. Sorry, but there are no docs on these seats -- they were recovered before my ownership.

Would someone be kind enough to explain what "double lockers" refers to?
    Thanks.
