    Ok, So my 1973 mfi targa shows 144-9-3 on the tag.

    to complete this thread, I've compare paint recipes from Glasurit for the different gold metallic codes. It shows that the colors 113, 133, 144 and L97G (VW/Audi) are all the same color. Only 140 is a different mix.
    (although through these years, the "generic" 8888 code was used for marketing).
