    Zinc Plating in Southern Calif

Now sure if anyone is looking for a zinc plating shop in SoCal, but a Porsche friend introduced me to JD @ Flawless Zinc Plating and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality, pricing, and turn-time from drop off to completion. I've already sent my second job into JD. If you’re thinking of plating your car or bike parts, I suggest you contact JD Martinez (FZPfallbrook@yahoo.com). 760-696-5965. IMHO, you won’t be disappointed. I had over 250 pieces done and all four of the dust covers. See pics below. I have no affiliation with this shop. Stay Safe

Is is always welcome to pass something like this along. Thank you. (I am moving to San Diego, and my wonderful plater in San Jose will be just too far away for me to deliver and pick up parts).

Whenever I get plating back, it is like Christmas time all that bling

    Thanks, Rick

Bruzzi, would you mind sharing the cost of the plating for the hardware shown? I have a '67 vw I would like to get all the hardware done and I'm just 20 minutes from Fallbrook.

I was using Hy-Tech plating and the pricing and quality was great but they are out of business since covid. I'll contact JD. I hope he can deal with shipping.

Thank you sir for the reply. I've been debating whether I should get a zinc plating kit from Eastwood to do my own, but at that cost it may just be worth saving the headache and having someone else do it.

I believe JD used to work for CPR (California Porsche Restoration) so he's got some experience.
