I need information from CoA specialists

First of all: I only recently immersed myself in the 911 cosmos and am not yet familiar with the details.

    My 911 S Targa has had an "eventful" history ( https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...arga-MY72-gold ).

These seats were included when I bought the car:

But which seats were included in the delivery condition at the time? Can you tell from the CoA?

If this is not possible, is there another option?

    Many thanks in advance.
    Golden greetings
    Andreas

    Andreas,
Sport seats were options in 72. Not seeing them listed in the options list of your COA is a pretty good indicator that the car was originally delivered with comfort seats. Your seats look completely correct down to original vinyl.

Those are completely original comfort seats with the proper black recliner hinges and grain and with just the string that holds down the seat pleat broken. But they aren’t perforated. CoA may not be accurate I have to say.

I agree 100%; CoAs can be pretty useless. The one that came with my car said that light ivory was the original color; After doing some research and speaking to some people, I was sent a corrected CoA that showed Light Yellow as the original, which I suspected, as no one had ever found a trace of light ivory.
