    Glove Box Lock Location

Would anyone be able to shed light on when the glove box lock moved from being off-center to being centered?

    Thanks!

    1964, 1965 it was centered

1964/1965 short glove box handle in the middle - lock centered side to side.
1967 glove box handle full width of the lid - lock is offset from the center

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks everyone.

Struggling a little here. We have just looked at a few cars in the shop, it appears that the majority of the 71s have the lock offset. Does anyone else have a 71 that could share some insight. My car is a Euro delivered car, not sure if that makes a difference.

    Thanks

that should not make a difference Jim

RHS earlier ones were offset to the left and then for 71 Model year onward to the center just like LHD ones
