I had the car shipped to me in August. It was a long 6 years and an embarrassing amount of money, but worth every penny. The color is Signal Orange. It has a Gamroth built 3.5L EFI engine and custom transaxle also built by Jeff at Rothsport.

Scott and crew have been hard at work getting the car stripped and on the road toward new paint. the partially stripped engine lid looked like topographic map with all the coats of paint and primer from the past 50 years!
as mentioned before, the smuggler's box had really been carved up at some point, but it's gonna be put back together the right way as part of the build.
after looking things over, we'll be doing new front fenders given some imperfections in the fenders themselves and the headlight buckets. as expected, one rear seat pan was also pretty shot and will be replaced. the rest of the car was pretty straight and looked good in bare metal.
more to come soon!

You are in great hands with Scott and Jayme handling the car. I just drove my signal yellow car Scott, Gamroth and Jayme recently finished and went over to Jayme’s to say hello. I think I also might have picked up your new front fenders with Scott on way in from airport. Your car will be perfect when it’s done. Congrats and keep the photos coming!

well, I don't know where the time has gone the past couple months, but it's been way too long since my last update. while I've been spending my time looking at parts diagrams so I can order replacement parts, Scott and Jayme have been making great progress on the car.
there is color on the car again! the choice to go with dalmatian was a little bit of a leap of faith, but I love how it's looking so far and can't wait to see additional pictures of it.

thanks, all!
it's pretty amazing to see what the trunk and smuggler's box look like now (no more gaping holes to the passenger footwell!)
