    FS: 1965 aluminum wheel

This is an all aluminum wheel riveted together. Marks in the center read: 5/65.....699016......KPZ......LM, which means "leichtmetal' I believe. The center is distorted, as seen in the pics. Paul Frere writes about these rare wheels in his book about the Racing Porsches. It seems the factory used these wheels on their factory cars only, but a few got out and they got all back......except this one! I did some research and contacted Burt Norris who owned 906004 bergspyder and this wheel was with that car, he sold the car and kept the wheel. This wheel is a great conversation piece for your Porsche garage!........a rare piece of Porsche racing history for sure!........I`ll bet nobody has seen another one of these wheels!!........anyone??......... Shipped in the USA free!..............SOLD......or an interesting trade.....I like wood wheels, Carrera & GT parts, etc
