    Intake Manifold Question

Does anyone know the purpose of the additional pipe that connects to the fore and aft intakes on this manifold?

The manifolds that came off my 911T only have the shaft for the throttle linkage.

The manifold is from a car with a sportomatic transaxle . The lines are for the vacuum diaphragm .
