Timing decal 1968 - had they really a red border?

As in the title, I wonder if the timing decals on SWB, particularly in 1968, had really a red border like the engine compartment decals?
I searched for pics of all original cars but none of them had a timing decal with red border/rim.
Can anyone verify whether the timing decals ever had a red border or not?

    Regards

    Philipp

I tracked down a NOS timing decal for a ‘68 911 normal It had a red border. Somewhere I have a spare since the seller had two. You can barely make it out in this image.

I might have an extra too if John can’t find his.

Wow, I did not expect that there are still NOS out there. Thank you.
Would one of you sell the spare NOS decal to me for my 68 911? If so, could you please make me an offer via pm?
    Regards

1968 and earlier had red border; 1969 was black.

Phillip, to be clear on my end, mine is not nos, it’s a repop (although a VERY good one) from carbone. Let me know, via pm, if you still want me to try and find it.

If I recall correctly, my ‘68 911 normal was different than any other I had seen. I will see if I can find the spare. It’s between two pieces of cardboard somewhere in my house.

If this is what you are looking for, I will continue the search. If not, I won't keep racking my head trying to figure out where I put it.
