    FS: 1965 912 Engine. ** SOLD **

    1965 912 engine fitted for a 356. Less than 10l mo. Since rebuild, runs smooth, strong and cool . All 912 components with exception to carbs ( Zenith 32 NDIX ) flywheel, aluminum oil cooler, 6V Elect.
    Great leak down #’s between 1 & 2 %

    It also has a 356 mechanical tach drive, and a 180mm pre-60 clutch.

    What’s the case type? 616/36, 616/39, or 616/40? That is a unique look to the stamping area. I’d say it’s highly unusually to have ground and restamped the third piece but anything is possible.

    616/36 all 3 pieces are #’s matching . For the sake of argument it really doesn’t matter as it’s built for a 356.
