fuchs wheel restoration shop in europe

    Hi all,

I recently bought a 911 raced in the old days and it come with many sets of fuchs wheels in a wide range of sizes.

I'm looking for a shop who can restore fuchs and recreate the correct RSR finish on wider sizes.

I'm from Italy and it isn't easy for me to send wheels to Harvey so I'm looking for someome based in Europe .
Wheels are in quite poor conditions, some need welding and some else probably aren't straight, so i need someone who really knows his job.

    Any advice from european members?

Any help would be really apreciated!
    Thank you in advance.

No Idea how they handle cosmetics. But when it comes to welding and straightening this is a go-to place https://www.aluklinik.de/start.html

Fuchs themselves offer a cosmetic redo but they are not offering a RSR finish and they do neither weld nor straighten. https://www.fuchsfelge.com/de/aufbereitung.html

I know of a couple of places in the UK who work on these:-

Drop Alan at Canford Classics a message with images. They do cosmetics and will give a good view on the viability of physical repairs as well.

Or Mark Waring at Rennsport Classics Ltd, based in Surrey:

I know he did amazing cosmetic work on these wheels, especially the larger, rarer sizes and finishes. Not certain of what he offers currently.

    Hope that helps.

Heard many good things from Art-wheels, they're in France, near Strasbourg.

This shop has an excellent reputation. The grey 911 on the webpage is of the owner of the shop. He is also well known in the german Elferteam Internet Forum.

That was indeed the other shop near Cologne I was looking for but couldn't find.

Indeed, they do quite a good work!

Thank you guys for your help!

I heard about art restoration in Strasbourg, they have a nice web-site and they invest lots of money in advertisement on french press.
I will contact them and the restorer in Koln too.

I heard about a very expert restorer in UK too.
It isn't canford nor car and classic: i'm sure a specialist makes fuchs for them but I can't remember his name...

    Thank you!
