What are you doing to protect against scuffing your seats?

What is everyone using to protect their seats, particularly the driver's seat as the bolsters are the ones that take the most abuse as we get in and out?

It's patina that people try to avoid and spend money to get back the original look.

If find that if I slide the drivers seat back, swing my legs out and exit that way it saves the wear on the bolster and the welting.
The last set of seats I had reupholstered, I specified French stitching in place of the original welting.

I hope you use good quality New Zealand sheep skins as the Lanolin in the wool also removes that 'hard to get' Patina
