    FS: Early 1965 911 Slate Grey Vin 301249 Project

    SOLD SOLD SOLD This early 1965 911 is extremely original. It was taken apart 25 years ago to fix rust issues and repaint. 6401 Slate Grey Paint code. Original paint can be seen in many areas All Numbers matching. COA included. No Solex carbs or air cleaners. Otherwise it is about 95% Complete. The car will need metal work. Front pan and floors and rocker areas will need attention. Front wheel well areas were patched in a poor manner. Floors were replaced in a poor manner. I would estimate that this 911 will need $20k in metal work. Many areas are very solid. Original front slam panel. 5 Date Matched 65 wheels
    This early 911 has many of the rare early features. Washer bottle in fender. Non adjustable shock towers. Super Rare Luggage Hooks in front trunk. Brass ignition Bezel Original Sombrero Gas talk. Webasto heater. Front trunk area is extremely original. Super rare 356 Headrest option. This will be an exceptional and rare early 911 when restored.     Do you happen to know the Build date for this Car ? I have a tranny thats a Bit earlier then the one in this car and would like to know rough idea of time frame for it
