Need inspiration for my new garage

    Greetings all,

Life is a step by step stair. It took me 38 years to afford my first Porsche, then 47 years to get a SWB in my garage, and nearly 50 years to get to my perfect car collection.
I needed to find a great space to host all of these and could be used as my office too.

I do have many ideas how to manage/decorate the stable, but would appreciate any inspiring pictures from your own garage, please.
Hereafter raw pictures of the 150m2 space at ground floor + 50m2 of Office 1st floor ( there will be windows built to see the cars from my 1st floor office, of course)

Xavier, check out AMMO NYC and his transformation of the space - he does detailing, but some good stuff in there: https://youtu.be/B-cz6UP4YKs

There are a couple of garage threads worth calling up, but for some reason my searches aren't working. I know one is of Milou's impressive space, the other a "show your garage" thread of several pages.

Anyway, beautiful space Xavier. Polishing and/or sealing the floor with epoxy is a must. And given the dimensions, depending on how you arrange the cars consider a set of skates for vehicles that aren't driven regularly.

Makes them easy to maneuver in tight spaces.

When you find that other thread, please post photos of your handiwork!

Nice space... Grats. I'd probably open the upper wall to the space below... And put in a full length wall to wall roller crane/lift.

    Hi Xavier,

Congratulations with the new garage/workshop. I completely emphasize with you on climbing those steps in life. I purchased my first Porsche at 39 and my longhood at 44. We are truly blessed to be able to pursue these non-essential passions in life.

Now back to design inspiration for your garage. Check out this garage from another enthusiast in Chicagoland. Steve's garage won the Pelican Parts Virtual Car Show for Best Garage.

Hanging big stuff on the wall is always a nice touch.

Thank you ! Steve's garage is impressive and for sure tidy as I like it.

Adam, yours is fascinating and I would love to get lost in there, loads of gems to be found.
