    Salut Xavier!

    Olivier.

    PS: un bon système d'alarme/télésurveillance.

    Bonjour Olivier,

Merci pour ce message plein d'enthousiasme !

The upper office part is already clean and ready to be painted/decorated - the building is pretty new (2014) and play the environnement latest rules. Painting will start this week and should look almost like this ( an ACMA vespa will replace the bike ;-) :

For the ground floor, I will equip it step by step and for sure will have some great toys to play with - have already loads of tools, machines, a compressor etc..
I will look for second hand/auctions too. Thanks for the tip.

Also, as an insurer, I would advise for an appropriate fire detection system/fire extinguishers or better fire suppression system. I suppose that you don't live nearby?
Fire or water are my worst nightmares for a nice collection of cars/parts.

Jeeezus! In a certain way, I'm happy that I don't have a real workshop... I could well be ruined in a matter of weeks.

Looks like there are some deals after all, even in old Europe!

What are the dimensions of this shop Xavier? 7,5m x 20m ?

    Olivier.

Do you have a dimensional plan of the first floor and what would-you like to put in there?
    Is this a place to:
    a) Store cars (how many?)?
    b) Work on cars (how many) at a time?
    c) Store cars, parts, or trailer, etc...

Slow progress, but progress it is. The windows frame is late in delivery. next week Carpets and 2 Chesterfield sofas to be delivered.
Found a cool big light sign (100 inches long) outside and took it. Do not know if I'll hang it or not yet.

Don't rush it, big garage plans take time. I had to vault the ceiling in my home garage to put in the lifts, it took months to get everything done. It gets a lot more complicated to make changes once the cars are in there, this is the time to take it slow and get it right.
