    SWB/LWB door glass

Is there any difference between SWB and LWB coupe door glass that have a moving vent window. I would guess they are the same, but I could be mistaken.

Chris I'm going through this exercise at this moment. What I have been told by others is the 68 framework will work in the Long wheel base chassis. I have a 71 coupe and the early frames I have won't work 9pre 68 frames). I've decided to use the fixed lexan vent window and have orders snap in 3 1/4" aircraft vents. I'm also changing my quarter windows to the louvered lexan. I'll keep all the original pieces should someone in the future buy the little baby. Chassis built originally as an E, I rebuilding a 2.2S with MFI to a 2.5liter for power. Sorry for being so wordy.

Same, although etchings\markings vary, beware of Targa glass that has a different top edge profile.

The parts catalog lists door wind up glass through 67 and 68 and on. I still don't know the difference. 68 got aluminum frames could that be the reason for different glass? 68 also got all the new DOT regulations, could that be the difference? If you look at the Sekurit markings there are D51 and D89. I've seen both in early and late cars. The 65 has Sekurit D02.
Does anyone know the significance of D51 vs D89?

it may be different because the glass is in a channel. the channel slides onto the window lifter. The early cars. when the window is down is when you can slide the glass off of the lifter. But because of this some people would slam the door closed with the window rolled down and this occasionally would dislodge the window from the lifter.... so for later years they made it so that the window would be taken off the channel when the window is rolled up.... effectively .... the lifting channel has an "open " hole at the end of the channel and they reversed the open end.... other than that they are the same and can be put in. you just have to perform the operation differently.
