    Hi Jim,
Curious if you would sell just the aluminum threaded rod and acorn nuts. I have a snapped rod at the threads on my 67 grill I need to replace. How about $25 shipped to So Cal?
    Thanks in Advance
    David

    David,
You can make your own rods: 4mm aluminum stock from e.g., McMaster Carr. Then thread them at ends with a die. New, proper, acorn nuts are available from our member JimmyT.

    Thanks Jim,
I snapped one when I refinished my grill and was taking the easy route. Thanks for clarifying 4mm and giving me a source for the rod. If I do not hear from this seller I will definitely go that route.
    Thanks Again
