Re-finishing the rear decklid grill - Options?

OK all you restoration guru's out there -

My black rear deck lid grill on my 72' S is looking a bit tired, and since I am repainting the whole car, what's the best option on this thing? Powder-coat? re-anodize? Krylon? what say the members.....?

I talked to an anodizing shop on the phone (who did not look at the part) who said "uh, we can't anodize anything with plastic in it, it will just fall apart, so forget it..."

Which then begged the question, I don't know if it DOES have any plastic in it, which may also nix the idea of powder coating - It DOES have some little rubber bumpers on it where it touches the deck lid - any opinions on that??? I mean like what would I buy to replace those?

All opines will be appreciated -

    Thanks,
    Stu

    +1 on Shaun...he’s a perfectionist.

Be prepared to wait a few months however (as is the case with many other highly regarded 911 specialists).
