    Thank you JSandAK,

I appreciate you sending more picture. Again, due to the amount of bodywork/rust repair needed, I am going to say thank you for the offer but I will continue my search. If anyone out there is looking for a car to work on and drive, feel free to contact this seller. Located in NY.

    Thank again!

Sounds too good to be true if it's an S

    https://www.allcollectorcars.com/for...-911-/2004001/

This 1972 Porsche 911S was completed at the factory in March 1972 . The original specification included Albert Blue paint, Tan Leatherette Sport Seats, Limited Slip Differential, "Koni" Shocks instead of "Boge," Trim Strips on Rims (fender trim), Manual Antenna - Left w/Loudspeakers, Air Conditioning, Rear Bumper w/Impact Protection, Electric Sunroof, Michelin Tires. This 911S received a rust prevention when new and allows us to confirm that all panels are original to this car and in good shape. This Porsche is a good driver with presentable cosmetics that has been lovingly maintained as needed over the years. The original Albert Blue paintwork has been redone, the original sport seats have been recovered and the engine has been rebuilt. The AC unit was removed but is included and the plumbing remains intact. This is a very desirable 911S with a matching number engine and transmission, a sunroof and some very desirable options. In-House Financing Available!! Feel free to ask for Todd with any questions you may have at (210) 908-6745.

That ad is definitely too good to be true. I took those pictures prior to selling that car. I’m sure you won’t be surprised to read that I got a lot more than $58,000. The strange thing is that my name is Todd, but that’s obviously not my number.

Incidentally, I’m also the guy who bought the 1972 Albert Blue 911E from Legendary (mentioned earlier in the thread). I agree, they knew very little about the car, but I took a chance and it is way better than I expected. I don’t know where the earlier comment came from about it not being matching numbers, because it definitely has its original engine and transmission.

I am sure you have seen this 1972 coupe, but in case you haven't, here it is (and I actually had a PPI done on it that I can share with you).

It certainly is gorgeous. Unfortunately, it is an S and because of that I heard they are asking over 200k for it. It sure is pretty though....
    Thanks Adam

Thanks Adam! I'm hoping that with the warmer weather coming, we might see some Albert Blue examples come out for sale from hibernation. Fingers Crossed!
