    Butterfly Horn Ring FOUND ONE!

I'm looking for a Butterfly Horn Ring..preferably with a nice original paint patina for my well used 1968 steering wheel..original or repro is fine. I don't need the Hockey Puck and I presume and can reuse those bits from my existing wheel?...Thanks!
NO LONGER LOOKING, FOUND ONE. THANK ESR.

Please post a picture of what you need, Butterfly horn ring is for '69-'73. '68 wheel had the one piece batwing/hockey puck horn pad.

I wouldn't say that's a definitive,,,,, I've seen both terms applied to both the early and late delux horn push.

Conversely I've only ever heard the 912 plastic horn push described as the "puck".

The 69-73 horn push is "one piece" just as much as the SWB delux once you differentiate between the padded parts of the mechanisms. I take it he wants the SWB delux horn push as shown even if it's missing the backside locking ring hardware (presumably he has a SWB puck with that hardware).

I think it's definitive by any reasonable measure of usage. Doesn't stop people from getting wrong though.

Does anyone actually use them? I’m too paranoid about breaking it.

Thank you everyone for the education! Forgive my ignorance as this is my first and only Porsche and still a never ending learning curve....just to confirm, any Butterfly ring will do, presumably it'll fit my standard steering wheel with its current hockey puck mount. To further confirm, this is what I need..Thank you.
