1963 356B Super 90 interested in a quick sale, originally sold in Fresno California - always lived there. All matching numbers. The second owner who is 86yrs old bought it in 1976 and has only put 44k miles on it and just traded it in to me on another car. Karmann build, I have COA, Metallic Silver over Red interior - however the interior is currently black. Wearing all its original body panels and floor pans, only the battery floor was replaced - really an incredible rust free car as you would expect a Fresno car to be. It was painted and a new interior installed in the 90s. Engine and transmission have also been rebuilt, I have receipts. Wearing most all of its original trim and glass but items like the shift knob, speakers, wheels have been swapped out. Has a tape deck in it but I have the original radio to install!
This is what I would call an excellent driver, the paint is 20 something years old but very nice and an above average job for that time - done well for silver which can be tricky. Interior is only so so quality with domestic materials used instead of German, plus its black not red. This is not a preservation or survivor car but it could be easily taken to the next level with some light work and be an excellent restored car. What I think it needs: red interior, original muffler and pipes, original wheels (it has 15x5.5 chromies on it), maybe some period correct tires, a few small maintenance items and a comprehensive detail. A testament to this car I picked it up in Fresno and drove 6 hours straight to San Diego and it ran flawlessly, great power, drove 75mph the whole way, very tight suspension. I have a couple classic dealer buddies that want the car but one just irritated me with a lowball offer so I thought this is a good place to offer to an end user that is capable of tweaking the last items. Many know me on this board I only deal in quality cars, I would like to do the work and make it perfect to sell next year for more money but there are simply too many 911s in my shop. I haven’t even washed it yet, feel free to PM me with questions. I will post more pictures tomorrow if there is interest.
