    Fasten Seat Belt Light

Hi, I am sort of restarting an old thread about connecting the FASTEN SEAT BELT light in a 911 (in my case a '72 911S Targa with original sport seats as delivered).

I got it to the point where the FASTEN SEAT BELT light works on the passenger side: goes on if someone is sitting in the seat and the belt is not fastened; goes off when the belt is latched. The buzzer is evidently not connected and that is fine with me.

The driver's side does not seem to work, the light is OFF whether the seat belt is latched or not. I think it may be breaks in the coiled wire since that wire has several areas with electrical tape on it. When I have the seats out this winter I will check that out further.

However, I thought I would post pictures of the hook ups for the forum. There is evidently no weight sensor in the driver's seat, hence the two different images.
