    Blinkers and brake lights

Haven't driven the car for a while but took it for a long drive yesterday and had a couple of issues that maybe all tied together. Blinker lights in the gauge work fine but when I touch the brakes both indicators lightly flash at the same time. Also, my hand brake light strobes sometimes brighter than others and it disappears on occasion. Cabin lights will not come on when door is open, I have the lights positioned flat and I've tried pulling on the door jam switch. They will come on if I manually use them. Emergency flasher switch is no longer flashing when the switch is pulled (activated) but exterior lights flash. Cars been sitting for a couple of months and all was working fine prior. Any ideas and/or are these all tied together someway? Thanks

Have you checked for any burnt out bulbs? Even a single bulb that is not working could cause strange effects on the remaining lamps.

I hate chasing grounds and figured it was possibly a ground. I checked for bulbs as I had a bulb go out many years ago and noticed the double blinker and changing the bulb eliminated it.
