    It is cool. And viable if you live in any jurisdiction which can make electricity from solar, wind, rain or even nuclear. And it is price competitive in most markets. It won't reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere. But it won't increase it either. And that is a big help. It's really hard to beat the energy density of liquid fuels. Batteries have a long way to go in this regard.
