    '. . . 1972 Porsche 911 S 2.4L External Oil Filler

    -1 of 1750 911S Coupes built for 1972
    -Italian Delivery, European Spec
    -86,000 Original Miles
    -Stamped Italian Dealership Service Booklet
-Matching Numbers and Colors Confirmed by Italian COA
    -Rare Original Albert Blue color
    -Highly original car
-Just Received Full Service Running Excellently
-Rare 1972 Only External Oil Filler Model
-Previously owned by Renowned Art Dealer, Artist, and Curator Kenny Schacter.
-2 Owner Car (One lifelong owner until 2018)

This Italian Delivery, European specification 1972 Porsche 911S 2.4L is a highly original example presented in its original finish of Albert Blue. A matching numbers example, it has been kept to an incredibly high standard, receiving services on time, every time. We have the stamped Italian Dealership Service Booklet and additional service records by marque specialists that corroborate the mileage on the car. We acquired this car from renowned New York artist, art dealer, and curator Kenny Schachter, who purchased it from Tramonti Diffusion, an Italian Porsche dealership, who acquired the vehicle from its original owner in 2018. Mr Schachter brought the 911S to the United Kingdom, where he enjoyed it until October 2019, when the 911 was imported to the United States. This 2 documented owner car is all original other than one quality repaint in the 80s and a refinishing of the original Black Leather seats. The car has been recently serviced just prior to our acquisition, and runs and drives excellently. The 915 transmission shifts smoothly thorugh all gears. In 1972 Porsche decided to experiment with shifting the weight of the already rear-heavy 911 by moving the oil tank to a different location, and thus the external oil filler cap was born. The design was cancelled after only one year (due to lot attendants filling the oil tank with gasoline), making this a single year only car. All panels appear original, including the steel front bumper and lower valance. The car has no rust whastoever, and the Fuchs wheels are in beautiful condition. The interior is fully original, including the front seats, which received new black leather. The result is a highly original, excellent condition car, with plenty of character, that can be enjoyed for years to come. This is a matching numbers car, as confirmed by Italian COA, and will come with records, books, and a spare wheel
