Faded Green Passed Over by Porsche

Not sure what 50's hue this is and image is on fuzzy side...however, something about the shade typifies early Porsche, yet for whatever reason was not pursued. Sort of a faded olive with spash of yellow thrown in.

In the right light it could be stone gray, popular in the late 50's with Porsche.

That Jaguar has probably been repainted since the early 50s, so it's not necessarily an original color.

Pastel Green was a standard color for the XK120, and it looks a bit like that when it's faded...

Willow Green was a similar Jaguar color, but it might have come after the XK120 series.

Pretty close to a bullseye, nice sleuthing.

Too bad there's no method to lay down paint with some variance in color like the Jag..
