It is very interesting in that I have had numerous phone conversations with the original owner Dr. Ron Turner and had asked him about the car having a wooden steering wheel as listed on the surviving original window sticker and he said it never had the wooden wheel. He furnished a handful of pictures and one shows the same steering it currently has.
The car also lists Fuches rims but was delivered with painted steel wheels from what he said and in the pictures he gave me.
All I could think is that the wheel and rims were swapped out at the port or dealer prior to being delivered to him.
If I were to keep her and trust me I would love to. I would consider your wheel!
    Cheers!
