1968-1969 Door handles and lock parts

I am helping a friend clear out some spare parts, I have matched up what I could and tried my best to photograph / note what I see. Feel free to ask any additional questions via post or PM.

    1968/69 Door handles

    A. SOLD, Complete set (handles, locks, buttons, etc.) with broken studs, chrome seems better on one handle versus the other, yellow over spray on the rear.

    B. $35, Handles only, studs have wear on the threads, one is quite bad. Chrome is intact on one handle but there is damage on the other. See photos.

    C. $35, Handles only, an obscure repair has been made on these handles where 1/4"-20 threads have been installed on one end of the handles. I see some sort of epoxy and a pin. One handle has a shorter stud. One of the metric threads has been worn down. Chrome is present but not something I would consider pleasing. The dark mark in the center of the lower handle was some dried grease which I later cleaned off.

    D. $295, Handles only, this is a pair of handles which have been re-chromed. If you are looking for a pair of handles for the show circuit these may not be for you. I could find some minor surface defects and tried to photograph them but had mixed luck. It does seem that the depression at the lock area was hard for the Chromer to reach/buff. It seems the mounting threads were protected during chroming but I would recommend chasing them prior to installation. I would consider these driver quality.

    Lock button/parts

    1. $5, Hardware as shown
    2. $5, Hardware as shown, note some wear on the lever arm where the centering spring rides. I also later found the slightly mangled centering spring (not shown in first photo).
    3. $5, Hardware as shown
    4. $5, Hardware as shown
    5. $10, Lock button/cylinder (5 pin), barrel button and lock face have some wear, see photo.
    6. $10, Lock button/cylinder (5 pin), springs look a bit compressed/worn, button barrel chrome shows surface deviations, the lock has wear on the face.
    7. $5, Lock cylinder (4 pin), chrome worn off lock face brass showing.
    8. $5, Lock cylinder (4 pin), bent retainer, one broken spring, the lock has wear on the face.
    9. SOLD, Lock button/cylinder pair with hardware. barrel buttons and lock faces show some wear, see photo.

Unless you are planning to pick up these parts, shipping will need to be added. Again, please ask any additional questions via post or PM.

    Thank you,

I lowered a number of the prices in the first post. All items are still available at this time.

    Thank you,
