    Assistance needed 1/4 window Rubber/glass seal ?

Guys , these are Porsche seals and cannot figure out how to get the corner to lie in it’s proper position.
I initially set rubber around the glass and taped position to make sure all was good .
As you can see the corner section does not want to lay down.
I tried to stretch In both directions from the corner thinking it might flatten but no.
Also thought if I set in frame (all well lubricated ) Name: 491F86B9-AB5C-45FF-9CCF-F70BDA0EDDDE.jpg

Size: 83.9 KB maybe that would allow corner to lay down, again no smooth corner .

Am sure many of you have done this and there must be a trick to get the corner to lay as it should.
    Thanks for assistance

Where did you source the rubber, you say Porsche, but I've never seen genuine rubber do that.

Yes it was Porsche in their packing from Sunset Porsche.
I had tried the OE from a non Porsche dealer and the corners were not bonded together just loose ends .
    Returned those .

Ed so suggesting they go back to Porsche ??
    Thanks

I have been is this situation before. Ended up getting the glass pushed further back in the u-channel and it lays down. Might have to take it out a couple times and try over, you should eventually get it. Those can be a real PIA. Even the rubber the dealer sells in nothing like the original. Are you using any lube?

So I am trying the same thing now. My issue is that the seals seem to be too big. You can see how loose they are around the straight edge of the glass...??

That seal goes around the perimeter of the frame, not the glass

    Guys
I found what the problem was with the 1/4 window glass seal !!
I ran across an old seal and noticed how nice the rounded end shape was compared to the new ones.....
I then decided to tape it to the glass and see how the fit was at the rounded corner.
    It’s excellent ....Name: 7B8C656A-F55B-42E8-83C8-E548AF60B42B.jpg

Size: 212.5 KB I noticed that even when not installed the shape is formed to be rounded .
Will be returning to Porsche .....they might have had some mfg. issues ?

I just fitted new Porsche seals. It did the same as yours did - until they were places in the frame - and then when the straight end was screwed down the section layed down properly.
