Rear Parcel Shelf and Seat Back Construction Question

Hey all, has anyone here disassembled the rear parcel shelf and seat back piece? I would like to understand its construction especially where the parcel shelf piece meets the rear seat back. My hotrod has a rear seat and interior delete and am considering crafting one from scratch with a custom leather finish. That is if I can find out how that assembly is constructed and I can duplicate it myself. It appears that the parcel shelf and seat back are two separate interior cards. They appear to be joined by a same length piece with a rounded shape.

Any help with that joining piece and construction would be a huge help. And I do know that I can buy repos, but my goal is to create from scratch. Unless someone has a ratty old one they want to sell for cheap. I only need the structure. Thanks!

Not looking for seat backs, but the rear panel. I am sure they are here too. I'll post a WTB to see what comes up.

    Scott,

    Happy new year,

I may have a source for a ratty old rear parcel shelf trim from a '70, additionally, you are welcome to inspect/trace/template my rear parcel trim from my '72 if that helps any.

    Take care,
    -Andrew

Thanks Andrew, I may take you up on that. Let me know about the rear panel. Is that from your old interior?
