Fit Question: Restoration Design SWB Front Bumper?

Has anyone installed a Restoration Design SWB front bumper? Was there much needed to get it to properly fit? Any issues adding the two lead weights? Thanks in advance for any info.

restoration design does not make the bumper.... you might have to remove the bottom welds on the middel support bracket and lower it to make the top of the bumper level.
    have not installed weights...

Thanks Bob -- where did you get the bumper? when you say "restoration design does not make the bumper," do you mean they sell one made by someone else, Dansk?

Restoration Design sells quite a few Dansk parts. IMO, the Dansk stuff is inferior, and in the case of some parts, totally unusable.

Having said that, I recently used a standard (not S) LWB Dansk front bumper and it required only a minimum of rework (top seal area was wavy from stamping). One hopes Dansk has a quality improvement process underway, but for now, I'd avoid their fenders entirely.
