    Michael, the special transmissions during 1967 model year are worthy of note. There were 3 variations used. First was the standard serial # but with a 901/5x type #. This was followed by a set of series x00yy where x is that in the 901/5x type #. Finally, a few 1968 series 928x0yy were used as well.

    Very interesting discussion. I was looking for this information 7 years ago when I owned 308278S with rallye kit.
    I owned this car from 1975 until 2017 when I lost it in a divorce.
    During this time, and before I obtained a Kardex, I was always fascinated with how many items in my car didn't match up with regular 67S cars. After learning it was a rallye car answered many of these questions for me.
    Post #18 is correct, the tranny was a miss typo, tranny is numbered 104926.
