    Chrome Resource

I just boxed up some chrome bits to send to my plater to be re-chromed and found out he's no longer in business. Can I get a recommendation for a resource? Specifically looking for my bumperettes and chrome bars.

I recommend Art Brass Plating in Seattle. They just did my front bumperettes, window closers, and shift lever. Excellent finish on all. Nuts were missing on the bumperettes and they removed the bars inside the bumperettes, welded nuts on and rewelded the bars in. One of the bumperettes was rusted through. They cleaned out the rust and filled the hole before plating and you can't tell it was done. They declined to do one of my horn grills because they felt the pitting could not be repaired satisfactorily. Talk to Darryl.

John Wright and his crew at Customchrome Plating are top notch. Not the cheapest, but what I consider one of the top chrome shops in the USA
