FS: 1968 911L Soft Window Targa - Stored 43 yrs

Car is Sold!!! Its been off the road and stored indoors since 1977, originally Irish Green was partially disassembled at that time for a repaint that never happened and tucked away. European delivery (Frankfurt) 911L that was brought into the states at some point. Asking price $37,500

    The Good:
    Soft window targa
Body/pans in very good shape, see pics
    Interior is excellent
All 5 1968 date matched Fuchs alloys are present
New brakes (rebuilt calipers, new master cylinder/hoses/pads/parking brake shoes)
I have the Kardex for it (see pics)
    Clear WA title

The "less than good to do list":
Engine isn't #s matching, its from a 69 911T and was running when removed (still turns over and has good compression), carburetors and accessories are all from the original 911L engine (triple barrel 40 IDAs, etc). Engine is currently being built back up from a longblock to complete.
Car is a 1968 but somehow was titled as a 69 when brought into the US, this is easily fixable.

Never found the matching engine case back? A fellow member had it here for sale years ago.

beh911, I contacted him months ago. He recalled selling it but didn't remember who he sold it to. But it is out there somewhere!

For some unknown reason the e mails don't seem to be getting thru to me. I changed my e mail address about 6 months ago. Sold the car this morning, its on its way to the Netherlands....
