How to upgrade '71 911T brakes

I'm just prepping for a major restomod of a molested '71T. I would like to upgrade the brakes but still have something period correct. I currently have "M" calipers (3" ears). What alternatives are there without have to upgrade the struts as well to 3.5" ears?

    Thanks in advance.

Late 70’s early 80’s Alfa GTV6 or Malino optional Brembos for lightness. For even better brakes BMW Euro 323iS ATE or first year only (77 or 78?) US BMW 320i ATE. All 3 use 20 mm wide vented rotors. As I remember the Alfa’s are mid 80’s.
Here are the Alpha’s I had on my car tell about a year ago.
I have a perfect set of restored 323iS ATE fronts and M rears for vented rotors on my shelf. I went with Boxster front calipers and a custom set of rear calipers. I put over 10,000 miles on those Alpha calipers in Colorado’s high country and they never let me down other than I wanted a little more brake on the long decents. Why go with Boxster’s? Because they are more brake and really just because I could.
