    Brwn/WHt Wire under Dash

    Hi,

    I have this brown wire with a white stripe....Its in the harness that comes from the bulkhead connection that has fan/blower wires etc...Any idea? Spare?

    It has a black sleeve on it? Best guess is probably for the front trunk illumination. I remember finding that for my '72 even though my car did not come with the trunk light.

    I believe brown with white stripe is a switched ground by DIN code.

    Ohm the wire and see if it goes to term. 31 of the blower motor.

    I’m looking back at my disassembly pictures…is that possibly the wire that goes to the glove box switch?

    Based on your comments, I think it is in fact the switch to the glove box - as I haven't installed that yet. Thanks !!

    This is awesome. I too had a brown/white wire under the dash that I couldn't figure out where it goes. Now I know! I have a light that comes on when my glove box is open. THANK YOU!!!
