    Hey All,

I got some additional photos of the LWB trailing arms with the mounting points. So if these are bolted up to my car then the previous owner had to cut the own crossmember off and weld the updated LWB on? There is no other way to physically do this conversion? Its odd because its not exactly 57mm extended. Its closer to 48-50mm.

I cleaned off a spot on the rear wheels and found this logo and stamping. Hard to make out.

Also i pulled the front wheel off to see the part number. They are not the same style as the rears so i am going to assume they are less rare.

The front wheels say 911.361.020 43 and 6JX16

Lastly, can someone tell me what brakes, hub, and front suspension this is off of?

What is the bolt spacing on the caliper to the strut / spindle 3" or 3.5" and how about a shot of the body work that fits this all to a 66, and what spacers were being used F & R?
    Show us more :-)

    Regards

    Hi Jerry,

The front bolt spacing is 3.5" for the caliper to hub/upright mount. I tried measuring the rear, but my caliper jaws interfered with the spring plate. They are appear to be slightly less than 3" spacing in the rear.

Here is the front fiberglass fender. It appears to be bolted up like a std. fender. Don't worry, that Subaru Engine I'm building in the background isn't for this car. Its for my Factory Five 818.

Here is the rear fiber glassed fender over the cut up rear quarter on my 66'. You can see the parting line and what it looks like self tapping screws that fixed it before they applied the one-day paint quality body work to it.

Lastly the front wheels had no spacers and bolted directly to hub/disc. The rear had 2 spacers between the hub and wheel. Looks to be approx 1.416" based on my measurements. I'm surprised this car even had wheel bearings last any duration with this much leverage from the center line.

It appears that you have 69 to 71 rear trailing arms on the car and the front struts appear to be 69 to 73 KONI struts but the calipers are from something different.

    Regards

    Jim
