    Meanwhile in New Zealand ....

    Hi Guys,
Stealing the show at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park in New Zealand last Sunday. 10 356s and 15 Longhoods having fun on & off the track!
Fitting that the RS leads us out.

Correct! We have had no Covid cases in the community for months! Only cases are in managed isolation - returning residents who have gone directly into quarantine. Apart from using our Covid Tracing app & wearing masks on public transport, & heightened awareness, the “Team of 5 million” as we like to call ourselves, are living pretty much as normal - music festivals, sporting events - America’s Cup right now. But it could turn to “sh**” very quickly, no room for complacency!

Australia is mostly the same, big advantage of being island nations at the far end of the earth and managing anyone arriving from overseas. We had a recent case of a cleaner working in hotel quarantine who caught covid (UK strain) and then gave it to her partner (it looks like she caught it from A/C from connecting rooms-fresh air seems vital). We had a sharp 3 day lockdown and then 2 weeks of masks etc and most of society complied with health orders, result, no community transmission and now back to what we call "covid normal". There is a lot to be said for listening to the scientific and health experts!

Agree! You have to acknowledge that Covid is highly contagious, it isn’t going away anytime soon & accept there’s now a “new normal”. Our biggest threat is, as you say, anyone arriving from overseas - strictly managing that is key!

Right, got to go off and drive my 911 now!
