    quick update
We have had coastal tidal surging but nothing too dramatic so it looks like we may have dodged a bullet.
The last thing anyone or country need's right now is any more disruptions to what we used to call the 'norm'.

Beautiful. Our visit to New Zealand 3 years ago was amazing. I can't wait to get back and stay a month there and really get to know some areas better than just traveling through them. Best of luck with the earthquakes. Hope things settle down now.

Just a quick update for all.
After having zero community Covid cases here in New Zealand for 170 days the Delta version has found its way into my country.
The Govt response was fast and within 5 hrs the country was put into Level 4 Lockdown for 7 days in Auckland and the rest of the country for 3 days.
These timeframes will undoubtably be extended.

Yep, that bl…. Delta variant snuck into the country!!! Just as well we got together last Sunday! Hopefully the team of 5 million will follow the instructions of our Health professionals and we’ll be able to do our Coffee meeting/drive next month as scheduled. Welcome to the “new normal”.
