Colson casters are some of the best available. They are what Lista uses on their cabinets. They come in many variations. Check ebay and there are some good deals..

Jones, I really like your design!. I like that the side upright looks like it can can be removed and looks like you can use it on either side. I built an octagon rotisserie but I think I like yours better. Dang, wish I saw it first. I also like that you can adjust the height.
What size box tubing did you use?
Hi Carl, I used a couple different tube sizes, 1.5" & 1 .75" I think. Yes, the supports can be switched from side to side so it can be flipped on it's side, a one person job with a little overhead assistance, but two people can flip it without any problem. I considered an octagon rotisserie, but decided on this due to space limitations as well as how open it leaves the shell for work.
Cheers,
Jones...

Thanks for the caster tip. I agree Jones, cool design. Am I right that you are picking up just four points: 2 transaxle mount points at the rear and two cross member mount points at the front?

That would be great, I think I'll pick up a few sticks of metal and make one of those.
My octagon is made so I can remove the side supports. Still not as clean as your design. I like that the hoops are not in the way. I have limited space as well.
Perhaps I could sell the Octagon and start over.
That wouldn't be an enamel/sky blue car lurking would it Carl?
68 911 Ossi Blue Sportomatic. Single stage paint, not sure if it is enamel or lacquer. was resprayed at some point due to front pass accident. Really faded faded sitting outside, and unprotected for so long. Needs a ton of work.
My thread is $1K Sportomatic
