    Is this right orientation for install?

    Guys
    Gasket/seal for front hose feed .
    Before I glue in place want to determine if this is correct orientation?

    I may have done it wrong also - but I put the straight area against the support for the strut
    1968 911L Coupe - Golden Green
    1971 911S Coupe - Gemini Blue
    1973 911S Targa - Signal Yellow
    1974 914 2.3 - Sunflower Yellow

    Here is photo, based on the dirt profile/shadow which looks Like a thiner profile on the right side , Think where I have it positioned think this is right location .

    I believe the flat goes to the outside, as you have it more or less. Here is the driver's side, from below, before I replaced them. Pretty sure it's flat to the outside (left of pic from below).

    +1...pretty sure I have photos of original gaskets in place...will take a look and report back.

    yes it is from my 69

    I found the it only fit well with the flat in the correct position. I believe the flat goes towards the strut. Here is the passenger side from above. I am fairly certain I put the new ones in with the same orientation as the originals.

    I'm disassembling a '71 targa - here's my documentation of the right side. Not sure how helpful this is because this one doesn't have a flat side, rather it has a cutout for the strut mount.
