Lottery winning needed for sure...Canepa charges $950K and you need to supply the 'donor' 959 on top of that! Nice article in this month's Road & Track (double issue) which has other great Porsche stories/features.
Thanks for posting this is an amazing video. Hard to imagine such a thing as 2 times better 959, but Mr. Canepa builds it that way. We have been fortunate to go through his shop at least twice on the Targa California drives, the shop is spectacular in all aspects - cleanliness, engineering, variety of cars, expertise shown everywhere, it's an impressive operation he has put together for sure.

Just found the vid last week....amazing. A supercar daily driver.......
when did he start doing this..... was it inspired by Singer?
brilliant
Canepa started working on 959's a pretty long time ago...
After the government backed off crushing every one that wanted to be street driven, those had to be 'federalized'...
Safety bars, different cats, different mapping, different lights.... different a'lot'of'stuff….
Canepa was the only one that was doing it, and for big money back then...
Not sure when he started this new program of restomods…
Here's a pic I took on a RGruppe Treffen visit in '2005....
Lots of familiar faces... RIP Cris Huergas and Roger Grago…

ahhhhhhhhhhh
We stopped in at their open house on the way to Rennsport a couple of years ago and I spent 20 minutes or so talking to Bruce about the 959 work - he's gone full OCD on these - the level of detail is amazing. He had just got the first batch of the 18" hollow spoke magnesium wheels in and told us all about that process and why the factory 959s were 17", but the car was really designed for 18".
