    Crankshaft, damaged journal, 70.4

I have a 70.4 counter balanced crankshaft with a damaged journal from a spun rod bearing. Is this something that can be repaired? If it can be and there may be a buyer, I will list this for sale in the classifieds.

    Do you need another crank?
    Not sure what you need.
    I have one done from a 1970 that went to a 2.4

I'm sorry and need to clarify. I am not looking for a new crank. I'm looking to empty my garage. I'm hoping someone could use this, or it goes to the recycler.

Yes, the crank has value. I would check with a engine machine specialist such as Olies about approx. repair cost so you can estimate value. I have a 2.4 S with 40K mi. since a properly repaired crank was used during rebuild. Rob
