The below (in Bahama Yellow) was just listed. CPR also has a '69 S in Bahama Yellow to the extent your friend has any flexibility on year. Good luck!

I'm not in the business of picking cars apart, but that 67S is a disaster. 300+ pictures are not doing that 67S any favors.

I commented on this car when it was offered back in 2012. No pics were put on the thread at that time. I would change a couple of my comments from at that time, as it appears there has been a few changes/updates made to the car since 2012 that are now "correct" as those of us who like to point them out ... well we "point them out".

The fact is that the car has quite a few "correctness" issues as Jim and Steve have mentioned, but they could be corrected for the most part with a bit of diligence, but it might take more than a long weekend....

"IF" someone wants a primer on what should be changed (in case you're doing a 67S) I'm sure that Jim, Steve and myself could put our .02 out there. Then again, who cares if you're just going to drive the damn thing....

Pretty car...love Bahama. I've got one but it's currently in the basket case stage in the colors of "rust" and "primer grey".

Edit: It appears from the text that a fair amount of the work that still remains on the car was done in the 1990's when a lot of parts were still not available through aftermarket, and if you didn't reach out to a dealer with the part number, or even know what was correct you end up with what you see here. And that's not terrible....

very nice...sitting this morning in sunny winter Augsburg, reading about the first owner, who had been a surgeon specialist in knee operations, chief physician of the surgical clinic in augsburg, teaching at the maximillian university in munich.

car was surely supplied via Mahag to Edgar Mayer dealership in Augsburg....

Gersthofen, the place for the gearbox work is just nearby, as is Schenker.....

My only gripe with the BAT 67S would be the color... seems a bit off to my eye.

Such a hard color to get right, I know as I spent a lot of time mixing the modern formula's to get something close on my old car.
