1968 recaro sportseat - no headrest!

Recaro sports seat from 1968 without headrest! Therefore, no 1967. can be used as both a driver's seat and a front passenger seat. The seat is in a very nice state of preservation. The letherette is still very good, except for a small cut in an unloaded area (next to the hinge). The cord has aged gracefully and has a great patina with its mud-brown color! the seat fits perfectly in 1968 swb cars but also in other years of construction. Price including shipping to USA = € 3,450.

    regards

    Hi Uwe,

Since there was only one picture of that concerned seat, the 1968 qualification could be derived from the thick back and more bold corners (not 90 degrees as in 1967)?
Did it have cross screws or slotted ones?
Were the rails (if mounted) with 3 holes or 4?
Thanks upfront for your reply to improve our knowledge about the Recaro Sports Seats.
