    glove box buffer - which one is correct?

    @all
    I was asked about the glove box buffers for the early cars, and obviously a search in the PET did not bring up the correct result.

    Part 999 703 064 50 does not make the impression to fit and I do have the feedback they do not fit at all!
    see below...

    Allen had posted a pic of the early type over here #18, Frank also...
    https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...ove+box+buffer

    On inspection of my 65 I had these installed - see below - and these do look to me, as if these are the ones used in the 356C, part 999 703 035 50.?!!

    What is the correct item/result, which part is to be used?
    Could you please post a pic of what you do have?

    thank you in advance

    with best regards

    the last pic and Allens foto show the same early type...the one on the last pic is just disintegrated.

    if you have a big hole on the dash you need the early type---small hole later type..
    no hole on the dash buffer is on the glove box

    the redone car is easily to be found because of the new 356C style buffer
