    Silver or Chrome Wheels

    Hi All,
I'm looking for advice on which new wheels to buy.

I want some 5.5J * 15" steel wheels and have the choice of either:

    1) silver with a chrome hubcap, or
    2) all chrome with a chrome hubcap

I know cars could come with either. Personally I prefer the silver ones but want to make sure this is original for a 1968 car.

    All help appreciated.

    Best, Richard

Silver was standard in 68 other then on the 68S and USA L or if the car was ordered with chrome or Fuchs wheels.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
