    Porche 911T 1970 kremer info

Hello, im new to the forum. my father and i bought a kremer porsche 11 years ago and we restored it. the problem is that the car was imported from germany on 1973 to canary islands to race locally and it has stayed there since changing from owner to owner till it was converted to a 3.0 street car and forgoten on a garage. my father and i have been looking for more information about the car as we know nothing about it from 1970-1973 when it was brought to the island. if it helps the original colour of the car was pastel blau. if anyone knows any information about the car i would be really thank full.

Carlos, the VIN is for a late 1970 Karmann bodied 911T. The other number is likely the production # if it is stamped on the lower dash & behind the kneepad. Because the car is Karmann bodied, there is a Karmann body # on the tunnel at the rear under the cover for access to the shift rod coupler. So the next thing to determine is the Kremer connection. So what state is the car in; there were ST, RSR, 935 race versions among others. Each had to be built to some specification in order to qualify to race in a class.

hello long ranger, we tried, but they told us that in those years they moved 2 times of office and a fire caused all of the documents to burn

Dave, the car is fully restored today, attatched you can see its state (and a photo of the car racing locally on 1973). we dont know if its an st, probably not, just a prepared T model, but again we have no idea about its history on its first 3 years.

Carlos, to my uneducated eye the car does resemble an ST with those fender flares. Now, there are many versions of flares that evolved from the 1968 911R onwards. The front fuel fill, front lid straps and wheels look appropriate. Why do you claim a Kremer connection? What Kremer influence or parts have you found? Dave
