    Removing rear wheel bearings in-situ

    Hello friends,
Can the rear wheel bearings be removed in a SWB without taking off the banana swing arms?

I need a bearing replacement but don’t want to remove the swing arm if possible.
    Thanks

I use a hub grappler. It’s a professional tool and expensive but have yet to find a wheel bearing it can’t handle.

A swb rear bearing is entirely different than the lwb type. It would be best to source a shop manual for this project. Yes, it can be done in place.
